Radio keeps spitting out CD

My radio has started to kick one of my CDs out, with the message "Check CD;" thing is, it never had a problem with that disc before! Is the player just being fickle, or is this the very start of problems with it? Sigh... I think Tesla has the right idea of all solid-state audio systems after all...

sounds like your laser is gone BUT im no radio expert. i know that your laser checks the disk before it plays it

If it is only the one CD then it just might have degraded over time and is to the point where the CD player has a problem reading it. If it does it with all CD's then there is a problem with the player.

Then again maybe your player doesn't like your selection of music. lol
