• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Radio installation leads to bigger issues

dont tell him you broke it badly..

you wanna buy the wiring harness, dash mounting kit, antenna adapter. if these thigns come with the kit WHEN YOU CHECK OUT. then youre fine... also they include install instructions. Crutchfield is boss like that

ok so i wired the old harness back in and still no heat or anything. So should i turn to fuses? Which ones? I want to fix it myself otherwise I will just pay someone I know to fix it...

How do you hook up the amp to the stock radio? Also it was the radio battery fuse that was bad. I tried to find A stock one at the local yard with no success so I might be able to borrow a friends but he says the cd player doesnt always work so I don't know whAt to do about it

So how do I hook up tue amp to the stock stereo and make the cd player work? I just wanna know because I want to pick it up tomorrow and work on it..

The same way you would an amp to an aftermarket HU. The only difference is that you need line out converter(s) for the RCA signal. Or, if the amp has high level inputs on it, you can use that.

So with that I just have to splice right into the rear speaker wires at the head unit? Thanks for all of the info so far guys it has been great.
If you dont have bose, you can just tag the wires at the speaker. Then you dont have to run the RCA's through the entire car, its just a straight shot from your rear speakers to the amp.

The RCAs have already been run through the car for both the speaker amp and the non existant sub so going right into the factory harness would be fine right?
