Radiator crack solution?

I filled my coolant a few weeks ago and noticed my light came on again today so I went to check it out and noticed a crack that you can't even see but after wiping oil fluid off noticed it would very slowly drip its on the plastic part right next to the upper hose. Also I don't feel its been building up pressure like normal the top radiator hose is still very soft even when fully heated up. Its a brand new house and I have had not over heating problems.

That's exactly where both of mine have failed. One cracked but it was spewing out the crack and the last one exploded the entire outlet that connected to the upper hose. You may be able to use some plastic weld or other maybe to seal that up but probably going to have to get a new radiator sometime.

OK great thanks for the info. Let's say in a month or two I decide to just buy a new radiator should I opt for OEM or the zzp 1" radiator which is only about 25$ more

i tried some marine epoxy, but it failed. new rad off ebay for like 52 bucks shipped is the way to go. its a fun little project. but easy enough.

mine also cracked under the hose on the side.

thats a 5/8 th's na rad but will work for a gtp. i got one in my regal gs temps are the same 100%.

gtp and gs's came with a 1 inch rad. they charge a bit more for them if you can find one.

little tip for the tranny lines if you dont have the line tool. pull the clips out with a pic, and put them right into the new rad before its installed, after the rad is in, you just push the trans line in the past the clip, you'll hear it click, then push and pull on it to make sure its locked in good.

Ya I'm a gt but slowly gathering parts for the top swap I'll try to find a 1 inch one but what brand did you get off eBay? And just to verify so ur a GS and your not having any problems running 5/8 instead of 1 inch correct?

yup 5/8 is fine. mine used to be a 1 inch. and im now top swapped as the l67 blew up on me. well bottom swapped really. but you get the idea.

temps are the same. no difference at all.
