Radiator Cap??

So my radiator cap sort of came apart. The top part with the warning sticker on it screws off but the other part stays in the neck. Just wondering if this means that somethings wrong or if I just had a bad cap? I has pics....
So when its screwed on it looks like this

And then when I unscrew it it looks like this
