Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Rad Options.

2002 GP GT, few mods.

I seem to be having issues keeping my coolant temps down on hot days (90+).

Stock GT rad, 180 thermo, tight fan settings, etc.

I see ZZP's option but i'm not a fan of buying and shipping such a large item.

Other than the GTP rad, there seems to be the 1998 Monte rad as per: http://www.grandprixforums.net/radiator_upgrade.php

Locally all I can find is the 1" rad. (still an upgrade from my 5/8ths core)

Now with the trans cooler fittings my understanding is they'd be different thus requiring new ones.

Since my lines are starting to seep I was tossing around the idea of a standalone fluid cooler with SS lines and AN fittings and skipping the stock cooler.

Another option is to roll down the windows, turn off the a/c, turn the heater on max. That seems to work, at the cost of sweaty clothing.

Thoughts?

Is it tuned?

What are the fan turn on points set at? Also...FWIW, after I did the LIM gaskets, flushed the dexcrap out...tossed in a 180* and got it tuned...it never goes above the first big line...ever. Maybe your car hates you a lot? It is a Canadian GP afterall.

Will has tuned it a number of times.

Low speed comes on at 180F, off at 176F (basically set on all the time when the thermostat starts to open) but low speed is disabled over 45mph and reenabled under 40mph.

High speed comes on at 189F and off at 185F and is available at any road speed as needed.

So cruising around at 194/195 certainly raises an eyebrow.

I ended up replacing my stock GT radiator with a GTP radiator from rockauto. I got the spectra one. It shipped with no damage to the radiator. Everything was in good shape when I opened it. I ended up using whatever hardware that came with the replacment. Everything fit with no issues. Just be sure that your tans lines are tight so they don't leak.

The boarder likes to charge money for international shipping.

And more money if they feel the need to inspect the package.

I'd be willing to bet your tiny radiator + all the extra heat your making from boost isn't helping either. Especially since intercoolers HELP SO MUCH.

actually no.

previous was 5-5.5 at 4000 RPM, now its 6.5-7.

previous was 7 max, now 9 max.

Only just now did i see the ";)"...
