Anywho...new place I live in backs up to an AutoZone...and a buddy of mine happened to transfer over there recently from a store in the hood...so last night I needed to get some crap for the blue car...example: exhaust leaks and stupid money pit.
So my buddy in said store drives a '98 or '99 Maxima SE (reppin' the VG30DE)...automatic trans...intake/catback...tinted tails...which adds like 19,000 RWHP...couldn't leave that out.
Should have video taped it but I didn't...
Anywho...said DD...'98 GP GT...DHP Tuned, Poly Mounts, Open Cone, PEM's...and, yeah...still haven't got the DP on so it's probably knocking. Oh well, I don't care.
First run, Dig'd it. Dead even until about 50ish and I started pulling...by 80-90 he was about a half a car back and I jumped on the brakes.
Second run...was a 20 ish kick...he jumped out because my transmission hates me...and by 60ish I had caught him and evened it up...and started inching until about 90-100 this time and he hit the brakes.
So...this was all done on a runway, underneath Boeing 747's doing touch and go's with exploding gas trucks on the side of us. Oh...and Bruce Willis jumping through someone's windshield.
Yeah, Bruce Willis.
