This maybe hard to explain, but, I think it will look great if you take it halfway down the trunk, and then, like this.
 
We had a massive ice/snow storm. Was out of power for awhile. Once we get everything cleaned up and the snow/ice melts Ill do that. :)

Your work is certainly commendable and I think it was a great color choice to use. I'm one who believes less is more, but this is really nicely done work! The fact you took your time and didn't just "slap and go" is definitely some respect from me! Especially after I have bought rear inlay's for my '00 twice and ended up throwing them away because I was too impatient with the letters lol!
