Racing Seat Brackets

Hello Forum,

I was wondering if anybody out there is having the same problems I am having. I want to swap out my front seats for racing seats. I just haven't been able to find and company that makes brackets for the Grand Prix.
I found a a company that is willing to create a product for our vehicles. Planted Technology in Belvue, Wa is willing to do this. They need someone in the area to measure the driver and passenger seats to create the bracket.
They will also need 10 or more people interested to buy the brackets to help cover fabrication cost. I am reaching out to the forum to see if anyone is interested. If so lets talk so more and get this started.

Did they quote you a price per unit? Will these work with all aftermarket racing seat brands or just the major ones?

I'm interested depending on the cost of each. I just bought a Corbeau FX1 pro today for a great deal so I need a bracket

I modified the stock brackets to fit my Corbeaus onto them. I have a fee more pics if you'd like them. But its basically 1/8 flat stock bolted to the rails with the stock mounts cut off and some other trimming to get them as short as possible.

Hey Sandman do you have a pic with the seats mounted? would love to see it. If I can save money then I am truly all in.

This is the best I got on the bracket. These seats have 4 bolts on the bottom, you can see the bolt holes in the first pic, but I've got a few more of where I trimmed the bracket.

Thanks for all the ideas. I am sorry for not getting back. Being a Soldier duty always calls. Anyway, I am still conversating with the guys at Planted technology about creating the 97-03 racing seat bracket. We need someone living in Wa around the Bellvue area to take there GP (97-03) to there store location and have them make the measurements so they can manufacture brackets for our vehicles. If anybody see this share it with other members in other forums to get the word out. Maybe just maybe someone will see this or hear from someone else and then we will be able to install racing seats with prefabricated brackets.
