RaceTronix wrong pump

so i was sent this
Racetronix - FPA-021 - CK/SUV Fuel Pump Assembly

when I had ordered this
Racetronix - FPA-007 - W1 Fuel Pump Assembly

so I sat talking with the racetronix people and they were absolutely no help
they told me they would not even warranty the product without me purchasing the additional hot wire kit
I had planned on upgrading the wiring when I did my injectors in preparation for e85 and just using the stock wiring for my light mods until than

the two items seem identical aside for the fact that the wiring harness does not match

is there anyway to tell if this pump will work on my car if I just go pick up a new harness from the Junk yard and plug the wires into that

I would be fine mailing the new pump back and than waiting several more days but they have pretty much written me off any questions I ask they just kinda scorn me for telling them what I planned on doing with the pump and the fact that I didn't just assume order the hotwire kit when it says the pump and assembly is plug and play and viable for stock to 500hp worth of upgrades.

I'll post a e-mail but yeah they screwed up my order and are now just telling me to mail it back
40 bucks of the cost alone was having the thing express shipped to me it still took 3-4 days but Paying shipping twice for what was their mistake
is not going to happen and they have made no attempts to correct the problem or give me an avenue in the meantime

Dear Sir,

Our tech feels that there is a high probability that you will have further complications with this fuel pump assembly given the circumstances. We feel that it would be best if you send the pump back for a refund. Based on your conversation in our support forum we cannot extend any warranty on this pump assembly should you chose to keep and modify it for these reasons:

1) Wrong pump purchased for application (FPA-007 required vs. FPA-021
2) Pump is not designed for E85 use
3) Fuel system contamination still of concern: Fuel Tank Cleaning To Avoid Debris Contamination - YouTube
4) Field modification is not supported
5) Use of pump without upgraded wiring

in the description it says true plug and play in the e-mail it says they would not extend warranty unless I purchase the upgraded wiring...

so after several hours of e-mails and a phone call to racetronix. The pumps are the same the only difference is the fact that the tubing on the fuel pump is too long and the adapter is too deep...

my possible fixes are

none of which will be warrantied....

purchasing 4 components from the racetronix site to convert it to my model totaling about 15 dollars.

sending the fuel pump back waiting for it to be returned my money reimbursed and purchasing the right pump eating the shipping cost myself

nip the tip on the tubing clamp it on and rewire a 12 dollar pigtail from o'reiley on in place of the existing wiring

seeming like an obvious choice to me especially seeing as my car has been not running for about 2 weeks now and the unit is already installed

the owner was somewhat polite...he did not like being on the phone and the end result of my purchase is rather disappointing

I'm having the same issue. I think I accidentally ordered the FPA-021 because on their website, it's right between FPA-006 and FPA-008 where you would expect the FPA-007 to be. But it's on the last page...

My bulkhead connector doesn't match.
