Racetronix rewire kit

I was wondering what kit people use the FPWH-025 which plugs into the harness behind the rear passenger tire or the FPWH-015 which plugs right directly into the top of the fuel pump? Wouldn't the kit that plugs directly into the top of the pump be the best? Why would the other way even be an option seems like that is pointless? Does anyone know if I can get to the top of the pump on a 2000 grand prix gt without dropping tank?

You want the one that plugs into the pump. There is a door underneath the insulation and carpet in the trunk that allows for easy access to the pump without stopping the tank.

My impala came with 025. You don't need to drop that tank there should be enough room to fish the wires up. I used a piece of twine to snake it to the tank. This one replaces the stock rest harness at the rear and plugs into both pieces no the fuel pump. and gets power straight from the battery. I don't like that the power wire is run underneath the car so I think I'm going to snake it up and run it through the car. This is all on an impala but I don't see the gp being much different but I had the 015 on my gp.

Use the grommet where the ABS sensor wire goes in the floor on the right rear under the seat.
