Raced an audi a4 in the gtp

other then a bmw driver that gave me the finger i havent really raced anyone in my grand prix, so today i figured it was due, i saw a early to mid 00's audi a4 ahead of me so i got next to them and punched for a few seconds to see if they would bite,

sure enough the guy did, after i let off he took off and flew past me, i put my foot back into it, i catch up to him in no time, i unfortunately see a car ahead of me in my lane, the guy is still going hard so i pull behind him and keep right up, had to let off the throttle before or i would have slammed into him,
all the while my friend is in the passenger seat screaming with the biggest grin on his face. the rear bumper said it has the 2.8l engine in it, which i figured wasn't anything high end, it was great to see the grand prix win a race and it was so much fun
 


at 90mph i was making educated guess that he was flooring it, i could not pass him due to a car in the other lane, so i made another educated guess that my car was faster because i had to cease acceleration

Should have made an educated guess about how stupid it is to race around traffic...
 
ya racing around traffic like that at 90 mph.....just takes one wrong move from you, the other guy racing, OR EVERYONE else on the road to cause a major accident.. last time i saw someone fly by my at a incredibly stupid rate i called 911 and gave them a description of the cars, what road they were on and which direction they were headed. how woould you feel if you smacked a minivan headon with a husband,wife,2 year lil girl and all they were tryin to do is to get from point a to point b SAFELY. cause that whats happend to me, the wife. and my best friends 2 year old daughter was with us......90 mph in traffice is so stupid i could rant all day about this...
 


Take it easy on this guy Geeeezzz. Personaly i think all racing on public
roads is stupid, innocent people can die. Stick to the drag strips.

unless the fast lane is clear but the other 2 lanes are plugged up with traffic and your driving a 70 firebird and you are up the ass of a 70 ish torino that is doing 120 and is pushing black smoke all over the roadway,(he topped out) so then you pass him on the shoulder pull up next to him and hop the front end 4 or 5 times to let him know whos the boss, then punch it and blow his f ing doors off!

that is a race!

oh 3 people in the car my brother and i were well over 200 lbs each, and my friend was a good 180.

and boy was i a fvcking asshole when i was 18 years old lol true race.

turned 19 a long time ago ha ha.

if you saw my full abstract, you would be in shock,( jersey points work by a 12 pt system, 12 and they take it away) over my full driving career, i've gotten and lost over 40 something points, racked up 18 points in 6 months, lost my license for 4 years when i was 19. been there and done it all.

i currently have 0 points and haven't been pulled over in 4 years and like it this way. NJ surcharges will bankrupt you after paying every year for 3 years for every ticket you got.(cost 4,000 just to get it back after 4 years then 750 a year for 3 years to keep it) been to defensive driving programs, 3 other type of point removal classes, all cost money to participate in. this was after i got my lic back when i was 23 or so, i still had 18 points and needed them to go down fast, one slip and they take it away again.
 
i didnt learn for years after that, and i paid and paid for it, im to old now for careless driving tickets and all that crap. careless and reckless, 2 and 5 pts each, its more now, i had pages of them, it seemed as if every time i let out a long ass burn out, there was a cop to see me do it, bad luck or just a idiot? i vote for idiot. lol then i started to drive pick up trucks, they dont really do burn outs or draw attention like fast cars, big save for me.

i can tell all of you 18 to late 20's guys, your out look on how long you are going to live really changes as you get older, for some reason you dont feel like you cant be touched anymore, the oh i got this attitude, and take some what (looking back) were some real dumb decisions/chances. that crap all stops at some point. i think its called growing up, and responsibility, and the fear of killing yourself or others in our acts of misjudgment. nuff said.
