Raced a Cobra the other night VIDEO



not bad... depends on what year cobra.. 03-04's were blown. were u on 378? kinda where we raced that day?
 
i watched your vid 20+ times to make sure, honestly still not entirely sure. It really looks to me as a 96-98 cobra. But in your defense I've never seen a bone stock cobra in person, ever. So I'm sure its at least a bottom 13sec car.
 


I owned a 98 cobra and that was definetly a 96-98 cobra. you can tell by the hood scoops. Not that im putting down the grand prix, i have a 40th anniv, but the cobra while it may be heavy has power also. from the factory it was (quoted from the factory, wich is ideal conditions and expert driver) a 13.2 car with no mods. Kasey you definetly have a nice built gtp it must move. and the cobra moves in its own right also. i also agree that everyone and there mother has a mustang now, hence why i bought the gtp.

theres a video of me racing a cobra cant remember what year but its my buddies and i blew the doors off em. id load the video but unfortunatly my buddy who was recording it had it all the way on zoom but u can still hear it its when i was bone stock feel free to check it out though its called fog racing 2 by collisioncoursec4 fog racing 1 is of me racing a ****ty mustang

Plus...I didn't notice a snake on the front fender and the headlights looked way more rounded than the new edge SN95's...also, like stated by someone already, check out the hood. It had the 1st gen SN95 side scoops...not the Cobra hood like so...

All in all...good run though...seems like that VS cam runs its ass off in that setup. You should get a bigger cam to complement those ported heads and get some bigger injectors and pulley down again with a re-tune...and really make it run.
 




^ x2 I always liked my friends alot, even more that my old 347 90 lx. They have a solid aftermarket, I'd personally rather buy a 99/01 and put a kennebell on it etc.
