race fuel

i have a question that prolly sounds dumb but i need to know if i can run leaded race fuel through my gtp or if it will mess anything up or if i need to find unleaded race fuel

If you dont need to run race fuel....then don't. Much less leaded. IT will kill the O2 sensor before you hit the traps.

im goin to be doin some 100 foot drags with the local guys and ill be tuned for race fuel can i use a bunch of octane boosters and have same effect when i used octane boosters before it didnt seem to help much

The only octane booster that is worth a poo is Torco...but again...if you tune a car on 91, then you aren't going to gain anything by putting 100 in it...period

QUESTION...if you use higher octane, racing fuel...will the pcm up the timeing for the better fuel???

It will only go to the max value that the timing tables are set to....so if it's set to 15* of timing, that's all it's going to do.

okay, but on a hot day when timing starts to get retarted, would race fuel make up for that?? im just wondering if i go to the track in the summer time if race fuel would make up for it

Really the only reason the pcm would retard timing in hot weather would be because the iat was reading 104* or above. In this case, no race fuel would not help only iat readings below 104*
