Quick boost gauge question

Ok I've been researching how to hook up the boost gauge and I got the general idea but I have one question. In the place where you hook up the t fitting there is already one there and both places on the t are being used. What do i do?

SHAZAM!!!!

Never installed a boost gauge..I'd get too distracted randomly revving the engine....XD

But I know some people have had issues getting a good boost reading...
Maybe someone can chime in with the correct size for the T...and I believe you're supposed to tap it(easiest place to tap) is between the T in the LIM and the MAP sensor...

Please someone please chime in with correct sizes :) thanks you guys with the help so far. Want to have everything with me when I decide to hook it up this sat

If you wanna do your own research....(I know, much easier to have people tell you XD)
you can go to someplace that sells vacuum lines, and take either the MAP sensor off, or pull the section of vacuum line between the LIM T, and the MAP sensor, and have them size it....then you can get the correct sized T....

That is if no one tells youuuuuu

MAP...not MAF....biggggg difference there...

No pics, but if you look right under the supercharger snout, there will be a T with 3 vacuum lines on it. Cant miss it. Follow the vacuum line on the back side of the supercharger, and it will lead to your MAP sensor.

Pretty sure the Map sensor is held in place by 2 T30 security Torx bolts. (same ones all the throttle body sensors are held in by)

Alrighty...Mighty google might just help....heres a ghetto diagram...

You tap between where it says "Mass Air Pressure" and Connection Under Supercharger Snout"...hop that helps.

Yeah...See the T ontop of the fuel rail? Follow that down and you'll feel another T. Follow that line, and it leads to the MAP...that's where you tap.

If it is a hard line (IE plastic stuff) You'll need to get a vacuum line to replace that, so you can actually tap the new T into it. hope that makes sense...

Yes. But the hard lines, you cant just cut and put the T on. You'll either have to get a few T's and change the hard lines into soft lines, or just use some of the soft vacuum lines over the T you will add, and the ends of the existing line you will cut. Either way it'll work.

So Keith do I cut the hose and add the t?
Thats what I did with my silicone lines. Cut, added T and done. I dont know that I would with the stock plastic ones. The biggest PITA is getting the line through the firewall. The oil gauge was easy, replace sending unit, wire up sending unit, wire up gauge. Took me longer to find the thread adapter for the sending unit than the install.

OMG oil pressure gauge is CAKE! Unscrew a sensor just under the powersteering pump. Screw in the sending unit, and run a wire to it...That's it.
