Questions on stock deck light replacement and also ipod integration

1. This question is for an 04 Impala SS.... Is it possible to replace the internal lights on the stock deck? I have an area that the light went out on and want to replace it. Anyone have any suggestions or know of a bulb number for them or if this is even possible. I know you can do it on our radio's for the GP's but I need to get the wifes car back in good shape.

2. Also on this car (04 Impala SS) I wanted to get an ipod input into the stock deck that powers the ipod, displays the music on the stock deck and also you can control from the radio/steering wheel controls. This is what I have found:2004/04 CHEVY IMPALA DIRECT iPOD/iPHONE/NANO INPUT +AUX: eBay Motors (item 380151367540 end time Aug-16-10 11:04:40 PDT)
Does anyone have any suggestions about this if it is good or bad. Or does anyone have any other suggestions about what to get other than this? I just want a quality piece of equipment and is plug and play with several other flexibility inputs on it.............. Thanks for any feedback.

I don't think it matters but I have the single in dash CD player with the "premium" (rear amp under trunk deck lid) stereo- NOT BOSE OR MONSOON

i have both on my radio (pioneer DEH6000UB) its got usb and auxillary in so i have the headphone plug and the ipod sync cable.

im assuming you mean the headphone cable. my only dislike is that i cant controll it trhough my radio and remote like i can with it plugged onto the sync cable. personnaly id say go for it i dont have much against them

if you want to stay compleatly gm, there is the PAL(personal audio link)
I have seen them in other gm applications and they work pretty good.
you get song title and playlist title on sreen. only able to seek thru song list one at a time, same with playlists. uses the xm2 band on stock radio. but you do have direct control opptions. also has a aux input. Dealer install is retarted, but there are custome harnesses avalible also.

hope this helps.
