Questions for those who bracket race

Hey guys, new member. I was looking to pick up a 2000-2003 GTP (or Regal GS) to bracket race very regularly, and I was basically looking for some help regarding weak spots to look out for. I'm assuming it'll need a decent set of tires since it's FWD, maybe hard compound drag radials would be enough. If the car is kept stock or close to it (I'm assuming 14.80-15.20), are there weak points to look out for? Transmission, input shafts, half shafts etc. Or, could it all take a decent beating regularly if the power output is pretty much stock?

Everything else will hold up pretty well to the abuse. CV shafts will wear pretty normally and aren't usually prone to snapping, even on high hp builds.
