I havent even seen a pic of a stock screen online, this one looks to be 3/4". I guess maybe next week I will find out, I will just keep looking at pics and studying til then.
 
that is a lot thicker. And yes the original one sits in a lip and is held in by a C clip. I think you could make that fit though with a little bit of grinding. just grind down the old "lip" and form a new one that sits farther back in the TB.

so ya........... apparently the honey comb isnt 69mm.......a quick measurement and conversion shows 85mm is needed. I have zero plans to take the screen out and measure for a fitment then put it back in. Doing things twice isnt my game. So this mod will be put off until I have a 100% confirmation on the honey combs size.
 


the calipers say 85mm. stock honeycomb is 6mm thick. the lip that it sits on inside the TB we've mentioned before is 9mm in from the lip of the tb.

So I guess a 85mm 6:1 is in due for a order, 3/4 looks like it will stick past the tbody .4" shouldnt be a problem.. maybe
 


It didnt even cross my mind that the honey comb would be bigger than the actual throttle body, but ya NOW that I think about it, how else is the engine gonna stop from sucking it in. ugh live and learn
 
4:1 ratio is also 1/2" thick, smallest saxon offers. which would then only be 3.7mm or .14". The extra length where and who should I ask if it affects something more? tuning?
