Im going to the track at the end of march and I want to try to set my tire psi at something for getting better traction. I have 17'' bullitts. Normal psi is 50 pounds. What range of psi should I try? Thanks guys

first 50 PSI is WAY too high for street driving.

I would try around 30psi and try from there.

what track? Us PA guys are going to be having a meet in the spring as well

But yeah, 50psi is way to high for street use. I and many others keep street tires at around 30-35.. Track use, you can let some out, usually mid to high 20s

A couple of my friends are getting together at beaver springs for a test and tune day. It will be my first time at a track. Should be fun

50 is the maximum tire pressure. You are suppose to inflate to the car manufactures recommendations. Check the sticker on driver door should be 30 to 35.

Agreed, I bet it says "50 psi MAX for this tire"

Run what the door says of 32 psi.

And for strip with street tires, drop to 25ish like other have said.

50 psi your ballooning the tire and running on the center of the tread. It will wear out fast and the edges will still have good tread while the center will be bald.
