Quality Replacement Radiator

I have been looking high and low for a quality replacement radiator for '98 GTP. I installed a new GM water pump, bled the system but still my temp gauge fluctuates. The car does not overheat and has been flushed two years ago and recently due to the LIM and water pump replacements.

A new GM rad is about $400.00, advance auto sells dephi for $189.00 (OE replacement) and O'reilly sells Murray-radiator ($226)....I would rather spend a bit more for a quality radiator but certainly not $400.00 for the GM rad. I plan to also replace the thermostat and two hoses. This should do it as far as the cooling system is concerned.

Any thoughts about a replacement radiator? I am willing to spend b/n $200-300...

O' Reilly recently changed to the Murray line radiators...Never heard of this brand before...Another product from China.

Murray has been around for quite awhile...in fact...I've always remembed even my old man buying Murray branded parts when I was little when he used to work on cars.

I found this from Autozone...Will this work?

You'd only be paying more for the GM name. Any brand OEM replacement radiator should work just fine.

My car seems to be working well since I had the LIM and water pump replaced. I was able to minimize the temperature gauge fluctuations by replacing both the CTS and thermostat...Perhaps I do not need to change the radiator. I have never had any issue with it. Never overheated and always serviced regularly. Perhaps I should change it any?...

my bro bought one of them orielly radiators had it in his truck for 3 days and it cracked down the whole side of it. He got it replaced for free and hasnt had any probs with it so far
