BTW for a stock pulley, the plugs are probably too cold of a heat range to do any good for you.
this is not true.........I am running a 180 t-stat and no codes......it just doesnt hardly do anything. You may run a little bit cooler on the freeway( I am curently running in the 180's with this on the motor, but it wont matter in town because it cant cool enough without the fans reprogrammed. I have never had a code from this, or heard of a code from this........Leave the stock temp one in unless you are replacing it for some reason. If you replace it you might as well save ten bucks and put in the cooler one now if you are going to eventually. It wont hurt anything........agreed on the plugs being too cold for an almost stock setup though.Without at least a 3.4" pulley and a PCM there is really no reason to go with 104's. The 180 T-stat will trigger a Check Engine light because you are running too cool. The upgraded PCM should be programmed to elimintate the light while running a cooler T-stat.
without setting the fan turn on temperatures lower it wont make much of a difference.
