sometimes my gp gt putters around 2500 rpm usually during stop and start driving w/ stop signs w/ above moderate not wide open acceleration..

Could that be my fuel pump or fuel filter?
 


Need more info!! Have you done a tune up yet? The key would be to start simple, you will probably solve your problem and do a little maintenance at the same time.
