• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

push button start (progress thread)

You do realize that when you turn your car off and then on again while sitting in traffic you will burn more fuel then you are saving. I do give you props though for attempting this and I can't wait to see how this turns out for you

You know what this means right? HYBRID GRAND PRIXXXXX!!!!!!

Depends how long he's idling.. Ten second worth is generally what is considered enough to restart the car.

however since my car will start in neutral i can turn my car off at lights to save gas, and pressing a button is easier than turning a key

So how long are you sitting at lights? I don't see the benefit of saving gas? If you are driving 100 miles a day, is this all city driving? I am guessing your starter already hates you.....

Not trying to rain on your parade.... but I just can't grasp this... albeit a cool idea.... but not for gas savings.... carry-on....
