pulley question

so i have a 2001 gtp with just slp mufflers and a CAI. I recently picked up a 3.4 pulley for free and was wondering if it would work on my setup the way it is?

If not what else will i need for me to be able to run it safely?
 


i understand that my first post shouldnt be a help question but i just need to know how risky it would be for me to run this pulley on just a CAI. and ill prolly go to a 180 thermosate too

Picture is ACTUALLY from SWASH...I never chipped multiple pistons...just the typical #3...he beat me there that over achiever :D

And guy...if you want a run a 3.4"...I say go for it...but don't come back here crying when your wondering why your car is on the back of a tow truck needing a new motor...we will just say "told ya so"...

tell me why you'd want a 180* thermostat. because you want to lose MPG? because you want to put extra wear on the motor? because the car is faster or has less knock with it (it really doesn't, for real)?

its a useless mod that the old school guys had to do because they had no way of tuning for their mods so they had to do things like run colder thermostats, really cold spark plugs, scale MAF frequencies, and run high octane in order to run fast. its old technology and in the modern car world its' really lost its place.

I don't know how many times I've said "lower degree thermostats are useless." And yet when I say it, it's wrong.
