It wouldn't be.very good if Ms owned Sony every generation. Although the xbox one is more advanced than the ps4 this time around. Last generation the ps3 was more advanced and everyone thought it was a turd. For some reason the general public enjoys having a less advanved console.... lol.
 
people bought the xbox because it was cheaper and came out earlier. It was able to establish itself before the ps3. If your friend already had an xbox you would want to get one to so you could play together.

This generation is going to be interesting as for they are hitting the market at the same time. This hasn't happened since before 2000.
 
^^true^^ I really am glad that they are able to compete against each other. Its good that one system can be better than another's. Forces them to compete andn keep consumers happy.
 


The down side is that both are going to have extremely similar hardware. How boring. The controllers have far more differences than the console internals.
 
The Xbone would have made much more sense if they worked more with cable/tv/internet providers. Having the Xbone instead of a cable box would have made it much more appealing. Also since it so heavily uses the internet, having the cable split internally so a modem could be built in would have made it a clear winner.
 
i havnt heard anything good at all about xbox one, so i will be going with the ps4, only thing i dont like about PS is the damn controllers, i preferr xbox controllers much more, but i gotta stick with my pattern, ps2 vs xbox i went with ps2, 360 vs ps3 went with 360, now im back to playstation again haha, ill prolly end up getting both tho just like i did with 360 n ps3

Have you looked into using an xbox controller on the PC?

Also dualshock 4 is much more xbox like in overall shape.

i dont play PC games, dont have anywere close to a good enough comp to do that, but if they make a xbox one controller thats compatible with ps4 id have to get that, playstation controllers dont do it for me

Preordering the ps4 more then likely. I've been disappointed with Microsoft with the constant rrod I received on a grand total of 3 360s I have and now with their restrictions they won't be getting my money anytime soon.
 
And now ms just changed their policies like a boss! No more required internet and unlimited used game sales. PS4 is officially crap now. Haha except for last of us. Will still buy both systems.
 


Hardware is almost identical. With the xbox one getting the kinect right away and better connectivity ports than PlayStation.
 
do you understand the difference between ddr3 and ddr5?

im sure ill be revisiting this hardware point when xbone's are bricking left and right due to some retarded manufacturing just like the 360's
