It was a joke. If you plan on puttin a servo motor to regulate boost, you mise well regulate your right foot in what they already have in place, electronic throttle body control and maniplulate that.

they are designed to get beat up on in turbo applications... alot of AEM guys use this solenoid for turbo boost control.
