Protection mode. HELP?

I have 3 amps. 2 Lanzar 4000w and 1 Insignia unknown watt...today the music was playing fine, then out it went, figured the cheap lanzar amp pushed its last excursion and id just send it back for warranty, but when i hooked both other amps up, the lanzar showed protection mode, the insignia didn't even light up? any help?
I tried hooking the batt, ground, and remote up by themselves and still the protection light is on. help please for any suggestions

Where is your wiring run? If it's anywhere near something that could chafe the wire (under carpet, near a sharp piece of metal) then I'd start there. Possible that the wiring has moved around enough to get cut and is now grounding out somewhere.

My RF amp did the same thing, I pulled over, slapped the sh1t out of it, been working great since.

When in doubt, slap that motherfvcker:th_thumbsup-wink: DEAD SERIOUS

Touched the batt and grounhd cables together, no spark. even touched them both to my tongue
It's not exactly a 9v battery. I would invest in a DMM. That would be the preferred method over the lick it method. Check your power line fuses. But if there is no voltage, I don't see how the amp could show in protection mode. If you find good voltage to the amp, ohm test your subs. When subs go they can show 0 ohms across them and if an amp sees an ohm load below what it's designed for, it will trigger the protection mode.
