Properly installing Gauges

I dont know if this hasnt been covered (probably has) but i recently purchased a set of gauges glowshift boost gauge and a oil pressure gauge) im not adding the aeroface gauge because that pretty much plugs into my obdII port my question is: is there a write up on how to tap the gauges to? ive seen some youtube vids and the installation setups looked ghetto i want mine to look clean and oem thanks!!!

Run the switched and constant 12v wires from the gauge down the left side of the dash then under the dash all the way up into the glove box to the fuse panel. (Wires obviously need to be extended). Use an "Add-a-Fuse" thing from Autozone (You'll need two of them), for the constant and switched 12v power source.

For your switched 12v source, use the radio fuse or anything that turns off with the car. For your constant, you can use the Mall PGM, PGM, or IGN fuse.

For the boost and oil pressure gauge (Boost hose and Oil PSI Sender unit and Wire(s), there is a grommet on the left side of the car that leads into the engine bay I believe and you can run the wires through that, or you'll have to drill through the firewall.

Tap into your Map Sensor Vacuum line for the boost gauge.

Start by running your wires down the left side your dash.

Have all the wires run behind the carpet thing under the dash. You can remove that by pulling the black clips/pins that hold it on.

Nice and hidden behind the carpet

Continue to run them behind the cubby and under the passenger side carpet also.

Behind the passenger side carpet (partially removed to show you)

Run those wires all the way to the right side of the car to where the fuse box, now youll have to run the wires up to the fuse box from behind it. Can get a bit tricky. Then use the "Add-a-Fuse" thing from any local parts store for the constant and switched 12v sources.

I'm trying the add a fuse and it won't fit into the fuse box?

It does fit, trust me.

I would recommend using an oil plate sandwich adapter for the oil psi gauge.
