Projector retrofit in a '97-'03

Hey all,
I've been seriously considering retrofitting my '03 GT. I bought it for my gf and I don't feel it's that safe at night with the horrible light output. For the price of aftermarket projector headlights, I'd rather just do a full on retrofit. I have some questions.
Can you post examples in this body style?
Is the morimoto mini pretty much the easiest an only thing that will fit in these housings?
Do you have any cool ideas to do, or pics of black, chrome, painted, etc housings?
Her favorite color is purple. I'm thinking of doing a morimoto mini with the Gatling gun mini shroud. Stock chrome reflector, chrome shroud, purple demon eye, purple ccfl behind the shroud and a white ccfl in the front.
Got any other cool ideas? It's going on a white car and I want to keep it stock appearing, so I don't think I'll go with black. Feel free to post as many pics as you want!
Thanks

$120 for the projectors and $45 for an HID kit.

I went with spyders only because I didn't want to take the time to do the retrofit, now I kinda wish I went with the contrary, because I've already retrofitted in another car. Maybe I should do it anyway and sell the spyders since I wouldn't need another HID kit...hmmm....

When you retrofit, how do you go about making the high beams work for 97-03 GPs? (a solenoid in the projector moves a cutoff)

You just need to use a Bixenon projector, like you said the cutoff shield moves inside. From what I've read, you just get the right harness from trs and it's plug and play. But I could be wrong on that. Still trying to figure it all out.
Nobody has examples of retrofits?

I only ask that because our cars use a dual beam bulb while my last retrofit had seperate high and low beam bulbs.

There's a retrofit in the for sale section.

This is beore I painted the houseings black and sealed them up

I have a good chunk of pictures, if there is anything specific you want to see let me know il see if I have it.

@ls1gtp, I'd rather do it myself, just kinda something I've been wanting to do. And yeah the harness just plugs in and allows the shield to move with high beams while still keeping the light on.
@Ricky21, he'll yeah I'd like to see more pics. Those look good. Did you use morimoto minis? Pm coming your way.
@ITHURTZ, I'd definately do it myself, especially with these headlights.

Oh cool so there is a harness for them. Last time I did this I made my own. Looks like this may be in my future cause I loved their output, and my spyders bounce like no other.

Props for actually doing a proper retrofit and not just throwing HID's in stock housings and blinding the **** out of people. :th_thumb-up:

I've been wanting retros' every since clean was here doing them but times got hard at that point... and now I have a 1yr old so there go's my time which means no retros for me :-( but of course I am still gonna want them.
