Hello Everyone! On Sunday ( February 24th ) I will be the owner of a 01 GTP. I'm very excited to continue the foundation that this guy has started. I have done about 7 retrofits myself, including an 02 GTP, and I honestly have no desire to get my hands dirty with that just yet. So I've considered just buying the projectors that are out now. However I have a question or two.

I've seen a couple different brands / styles. Is one of them any better than the others? In terms of light output? Cut off sharpness? Cut off color? Build quality?

Are most people getting them from eBay? I see eBay has them for pretty cheap comparing to the sites that I've seen them on.

Sorry for asking questions that may have been answered, I tried doing as much research as possible but there is an overwelming amount of information that I am trying to sift through. Thanks for the help in advance! :)

If you're gonna get them, get the spyder version with the CCFL halos. Thats the newer version with the brighter halos and they look/fit the best.
 
That's what I have (in sig) but I'm going to retrofit also so they will be for sale if you're interested.
 
they look good but output is poor so expect to add some hids in them as well or buy LS1's retrofitted ones
 


bigburban, you're still first in line for them, I just offered them to him in case you ended up not wanting them.

sLP, not selling retrofitted ones. I would sell my spyders.

cody I couldn't agree more, what a difference it made when I swapped the halogen bulbs with HIDs in the spyders.
 
Okay shoot me a PM. I plan on purchasing a set pretty quickly. Hopefully catch me before I make a move lol nothing like trying to save a few bucks
