post up the brand and where you got em. ease of install and possiably how you installed them, weather it was just plug and play or what!

I have a set too. My old stockers where not letting the light thur so well. turnning white. The projectors cut the light off to sharpley. I had to bend them up because i maxed out the adjusters because i can't see very far with them. Very close up is good. But imo the design is flawed. since the lights cut off so sharp it can be hard to find curbs when going around corners etc.
 


i have the projector headlights on my car and i like them. yes they do cut off, pretty low too. thats what i didnt like at all. so what you could do is 2 things. take them out, remove the projector housing and
1: take out the cut off plate (people will flash their high beams at you because of how bright they are now) or
2: take the plate out and cut it down a bit. (i cut mine about a 1/4 of an inch and i like how they are now.) it'd be best to start with small amount though just in case. its all in preference.

also, a lot of people on here dont like them at all. but if you like the way they look then get them if not then dont, its as simple as that. i honestly dont care who likes them and who doesnt. all that matters to me is that i like them. im also from mass and most poeple in mass dont do anything to their cars unless they are honda civics, so around here its a nice change
 
There are only 2 brands making projector headlights. 99% of members have the version shown in this thread. The other ones aren't even worth mentioning due to the inferior quality of the...."projectors". As for these, from what I've read....

Pros
MUCH better light output vs. stock headlight housings.
Halos are a nice touch, but if you don't care for them, they don't have to be wired/turned on.

Cons
Cut-off's too low (adjusting them till the light output is high enough tends to leave a big gap between the headlights and body of the car).
Some have bouncing issues.
Some have leaking/condensation issues.
Using HID bulbs will void the warranty.

If you're still interested in them, you can find them for under $200 shipped now on eBay and Newegg.
 
Yeah I got them off of Ebay...I like them, especially because of the Halo's :D

They do shake a little bit but you'd get used to it...I'd say for about $200 they are a nice touch, but if I was iffy about it I'd spend money elsewhere...such as performance ;)
 


I myself, as you said, could get over the bouncing. I like the way they look also. I'll eventually get me a set. I have to take care of some other things first. they deffinatly add a nice touch.
 
I also got the $200.00 set off E-bay. Had a lot of bounce but got that fixed. I am not happy with the adjustment yet still working on it. The light output is a lot better than stock and I like the way they look.
 
if your getting off ebay i wouldnt get the set that comes with the HID kit. they send you the wrong size kit. at least the seller i got them from did. but they do look good. have not figured out how to make the halo's work yet. the sad thing is i cant figure that out but i've wired up entire houses :th_laugh-lol3: it's four little wires and have not figured out what wires to hook them to.

you could do what i did. i connected the positives of the halos to the positives of the mraker lights, then connected the negatives to the high beam negatives. the only thing is, whenever your car is running they will be on. they do look nice when hooked up too.
 


i had projector's and HID foglights on my old civic. i am not really a huge fan of aftermarket one. i dont feel that they will ever be the same as a bimmer, lexus, benz.
 
I have the original set from spyder auto. They do provide better lighting down the road when properly aimed. The beams do cross but thats unavoidable. If the lights are adjusted to not have the beams cross there will be large gaps between the lights and the bumper. They do shake (most noticeable on the pasenger side) but there is a write up on club gp on how to fix that. From what I have read the condensation issue is experienced by those living in cold climates. I have HIDs in mine and did not have to modify the bulb area to fit the HID bulb. I also added washers on the bottom bracet to the headlight to push the light out and give you more upward adjustability. Also be careful with the bracket because the brackets on the projectors are different than the factory headlight brackets.

install was easy as hell
slight bounce but car is lowered and 245/35/20 tires....what ya expect right?
light cutoff sucks, gonna instal hids soon hopefully improve night driving...

edit: dont mind the bug splatter! quick photo shoot of headlamps after install last summer.....
 
theres only 2 kinds out there, the ones in the post above are what i have. i paid 350 for them in the sypder rip off group buy.

that being said i like them. you have to work with them some, but its worth it.
