• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

is there a program out there that is easy to use that we can plug our own cars into and make our own adjustments? something along the lines of the program used in fast and the furious??

There are free programs out there that will let you view things that are happening but not change anything. You still need the cables which can be expensive.

I have the DHP PT. Bought it used for $200 and it's probably the best $200 I've spent. Plus I can tune any GM V6 car from 97-05.

i have to try to figure out something soon until i can afford a gauge any idea about where these free programs might be located ?

grrr i dont have a palm, ive tried looking up obd2 to usb but all the decent priced ones are from hong kong and that scares me a little

ls1m is a free program, you just have to buy a cable and a palm to use it.

well good news is i found a emulator and got it to work now i just have to wait on my obd2 cord to come in the mail :) :) :) just saved a toooooooon of money

It's been widely used by PT owners for a year (since it kinda branched out of that community), but it's free for use by anyone.

ok so i bought just the obd2 cord from hp tuners so there is no middle part that comes with the kit its just the one cord going straight to the computer that should work with some of these programs right?

Um, no, doesn't work that way. There has to be some electronics between the OBDII port and the computer.

ok so i have a chance to get version 1 of hptuner for 70 dollars is it worth it and whats the difference between that and the new version
