Programming Key Fobs - 05 GT

In searching I have found that you need a scan tool to program the key fobs for and 05. Will any of the orange ACTON (spelling?) tools do that? I went to Autozone and their tool will not. Or, do I have to see a mechanic?
 


My "non-dealer" mechanic said he did not have the correct tool to program it. Went to a Pontiac dealer and they did it for free. I watched them and they had a special scan tool (not one of the orange ones, much more complex). I knew the guy and he did it for free. He said some dealerships get $80 for doing it. What a rip.
 
ebay to get a transponder, that what I did for my 07, now a key I think best is to get it from the dealer as it is chipped although you can get them off ebay aswell but not sure if they are chipped
