Programming a fob

I bought a fob for my car and was using the instructions on the firm to try and program it but I could not get the car to go into program mode. Like the write up says the car will not chime when I have cycled the key opens the door and closed it. Also I pulled out the mall prog fuse too. Any help would be appriciated

No I could not the car would not go into program mode

No. 04+ have to be programmed at the dealer from what I have read.

Thanks, Stealthee............ that is what I have read as well. Good news is I have a buddy with a Tech 2....... Bad news is he is 115 mi away.
