Problem with Add a Circuit

I have my wires for the Aeroforce ready to go. I go to plug in the mini add-a-circuit and it doesn't go in. There's a big piece of plastic in the way. Definitely not meant to be broken off... What brand should I be looking for? Or what am I missing? Thanks

They make more than one style, looks like that one would fit a much newer vehicle with different style fuses.

You need one like this.

I think I used the radio fuse or something like that because it's a switched 12v power.

i used the wiper fuse, its out of the way on the regal.

we need a mini add a fuse, so bring in a fuse to match it up, theres like 3 sizes. normally they are sold out of the minis by me.
