Problem with ac blower

So I'm on my car today and I notice that my ac is not blowing air. So I turn the knob and set it as low as it goes. The fan came on. Seconds later it died again and now it's gone for good.

Is this somthing common like a resistor or is this somthing more like a fan.

The cars a 1999 gtp with the auto climate control.

There is a resistor behind the blower fan that does go bad, and would cause you fan to not function correctly. ZZP's website has a replacement resistor FWIW, you might be able to get one from a junk yard or something too.
