Problem with 3rd gear

This just started today. 02 GT with 128k miles. Once I hit 3rd gear at about 30 mph, as I am accelerating, it will hit about 2000 RPM, and then I can feel the car kinda buck, and the RPMS will drop to about 1500.

It does this throughout 3rd gear. I can be going 45 mph, let off the gas, and then start accelerating again, and about 3 seconds after I push on the gas, it will buck again, and then RPMS will drop to 1500. Now, it only seems to do this under a slow acceleration. If I give it 60% throttle or more, it doesn't seem to do that.

What is my issue here?
 


sure its a tranny problem. i had a problem similar. it ended up being bad plugs. try a tune up. Then again could be totally different problem.

just saying, when my car was under load and took off slow, it would "buck". especially accelerating in overdrve without it kicking down.
 
I'm positive its a tranny problem. I dont know if "bucking" is the proper term per se.

I noticed now too that even when I shift from Park to Drive, it kinda "jumps" into gear. It used to be a smooth, hardly noticeable shift, but now when I put it in Drive, I can definitely feel a hard gear change in there.
