Problem with 07 GXP trans.

My 2007 GXP will not go forward in D. It will go forward in M. After achieving some speed, I can switch it to D and it will continue to go, until coming to a stop again. It downshifts when tapping the brake. Any suggestions whats going on ?? Thanks. Ckain
 


My guess says you lost the forward band.

Putting the shift into 1 or in your case manual mode you are by passing the band and going directly into 1st gear. Once you reach a certain speed normally going into 3rd gear it'll continue to shift 3rd and 4th as normal until you drop down to slower speeds or stop.
