problem after intercooler install

just installed a st2 IC from zzp with functional PCV.. The 2 yellow orings i was told do NOT need to be installed since the holes were filled in (Could this be a issue? do i still need to put those in)?

at first start up no vac leaks appeared but idle strange
then we took it for a test drive and got into it and slowed down to where the car died on us.

started it back up and it didnt want to run and sounded like a vac leak so we sprayed everything down with carb and choke cleaner to find a leak and there is NOTHING..

the loud grinding is from a bolt we need to cut down that is hitting the idler pulley..

any and all help asap would be awesome! anyone have any idea?

If the coolant holes were plugged then you wouldnt have to install the orings and this isn't the problem. Sounds like a vacuum leak. Do you have something to scan with?

What exactly did you spray down?

Did you check all of your electrical connections? Sometimes things pop off accidentally that may have not necessarily been in the area you were working in.
