pro scanner?

has anyone ever heard of or used one of these scanners before.its a basic laptop deal that gives u 1/4 mile 1/8 mile 0-60 etc etc.....scans for codes and has alot of other options on it....anyways i was wondering how accurate these things are....after 3 attempts on a long straight hwy it said i pulled 13.8 secs @ 96.4 mph as my best run....does that sound about right with the mods i have in my signature? :th_scratchhead:

has anyoneeeeeeee used a "pro scanner" im still wondering how accurate they are....i sure didnt think my car would pull 13.8 secs in the 1/4...

We used a G-Force scanner on my friends evo, all it had was a cam and exaust and the thing said it runs an 8.5 at 160, before it ripped off the window. I have performance data and such on my aeroforce gauge, havent tried it yet tho.

Heard of them. Know you can buy something similar for like 100 bucks on one of the vendors sites. Would be nice but also near impossible for you're car to run that in the 1/4

thats what i was thinking TDC...i was all :D when it read the times.but remembered some of the times i have seen on here from other guys that have more mods than me....my friend said his dad paid like 500 bucks for it....im gonna go back out later and give it another run and see what it says.

Yeah...I have heard of other cars reacting differently to mods ect but i think thats a little to drastic. I have heard of them being fairly accurate though. Maybe not you'rs...Maybe it was the areoforce someone was telling me about that was only a cupple tenths off

Midish 14's guessing that you're car ran high 14's before. I'll say 14.7
