Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

im trying to find a pre amp booster for my car since my alpine cda-9856 only has 2 volts of out put. i know that it will work just to leave it the way that it is now but i think that i fi was running in the 6 volt range my amp wouldnt have to work quite as hard. anyone know where i can find one im having alot of trouble finding one

The voltage gain stage in the amp doesn't work hard anyway, I wouldn't worry about it unless you're getting interference issues or your amp isn't set up to deal with 2V input.

when i had it set up in my last car it worked fine but i thought that if you had a stronger signal that it was better for the amp and you would be getting a better sound quality. or is that not true

It's not better for the amp. It's not worse, either, it just doesn't matter to the amp as long as it's set up for the same levels that you're giving it. The SQ can be better; with a larger amplitude input, the effects of any interference you might be getting would be less, lowering the noise floor. If you don't have interference issues, it's not going to matter at all.
