Power window question

I have an 01 GP SE 4door. Yesterday I installed a new window regulator in the right rear door. It works fine but both the door switch and the master switch that controls that window now work in reverse. Up is down and down is up. Both the electrical connections that you hook up to only go on one way so I know it's not that. Any clues?

if the window switch is running backwards the power lines are backwards to the regulator.

cutting and soldering maybe the only way.

you know what....look at the plug end on the regulator, see if you can pull the wires out, ( most of the time theres a clip inside the plug to release them) and swap the pins around in the plug. someone may have goofed at the factory.

Ok, I'll take a look at it this morning. I'll do a follow up as soon as I'm done with it.

!Scotty, you were right. It was just the two wires switched around from the factory. I crossed the wires and soldered them back together. The wires were fused into the socket so they weren't removable. Putting in those regulators is fun. Not hard at all and it only cost $33.00. Thanks again!

You bought a chinese regulator.. hahahahaha

Yeah, it says "made in china"right on the box. haha.. I put one in my RF window 7-8 years ago and it still works good. What I do is take some silicone grease and grease up the rails and that helps them go up and down easier.
