• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Power Stop Brake Pads

No problem, My "writing" doesn't always read as clear as it sounds in my head!. BTW, I don't know if you know exit 82 on the GSP, but that's "my exit", and it's a tight one N and S bound...

im way up north in the 157 area, Bergen county, ( 10 miles or less to the GWB ) been down the shore area my whole life, know your exit well lol and i've broke 40 so we are in the age bracket i guess.

I used to have a 3/4ton Chevy, '83, and it had a 14 bolt rear with BIG drums; get up to ~60, push in the clutch, take a good jab a the brakes, and watch the well-worn 35" BFG's send up an Impressive cloud in the rearview... and even at 4 or 5 seconds of lockup , the rear was so light and the old tires so hard, they never Flat-Spotted that I could notice!

are we related? i refuse to grow up too.

when locked up did they screech? we would call large tires locked up or spinning, a elephant burn out, because it sounds like a elephant trumpeting. they just never spin fast enough to hum, just scream. 35"s are a b!tch to get spinning.

For anyone that is interested, I bought the powerstop brakes for my car on the ZZP website $34.99 each for a set of front & rear brake pads. I'll install them probably next week and let anyone know what my results are for those interested in these brakes.

The rear pads died really quickly, never even installed the front pads. Going though the company for replacements but will probably not install them as I'm installing new Duralast rotors & pads on my vehicle instead. So I have a new set of front pads from powerstop and might get rear pads for free, though I won't use them, anyone want to buy? (orlando, fl area)
