Power Steering/Rack & Pinion Cooler

Any info on a power steering cooler install? Seen some mentioning also having a cooler for power steering/rack & pinion? Curious on all aspects of that if anyone has pics and info of why?

There exists a section of line on the car, I think it's the return line to the pump from the rack, it has extra length (steel) and runs next to sub-frame and engine, I dont know how effective it is at removing heat from the fluid, it's just round steel line with NO cooling fins on it, but I think this part of the line is intended to cool the fluid somewhat. If you wanted more cooling, it would not be hard to install a small cooler. Late 90's Ford Explorers have a nice size cooler for the power steering fluid, it would not be hard to snag one off from a salvage yard and put on with a little creativity.
I can see the need for extra cooling under certain driving conditions. I delivered NEWS papers one night for a friend, and all the steering I had to do made the fluid hot as (you know what), I had too change the fluid not long after that.

Funny you say that because I got this cooler off a Ford Explorer for my trans but I'm using a TruCool Max for my trans now. So maybe I can somehow use this to cool my steering [emoji848] Wonder will it work. I'll have to turn my creative juices on like you said. Longevity is what I'm shooting for
