power steering question please help

my power steering sucks. it is very hard to turn even while driving it makes a loud whining/groaning noise when i turn and when i put power steering fluid in the car its easier to turn for about 2 days then it goes back to how it was before so i think that may mean there is a leak. does anyone know what i would have to do to fix it? new power steering pump? please help
 


im pretty sure there is a leak because ill put power steering fluid in the car then ill check in a couple days and theres no power steering fluid anymore. how would i find the leak?
 
you have to get under the car and start looking, about a month ago a galvanized line running into the rack cracked and caused a pretty bad leak for me
 
ok i will do that but with the loud whining/groaning noises and the steering wheel being nearly impossible to turn would it be safe to say it is the pump? or it could be anything really
 


oo if thats the case then im pretty sure i ruined it along time ago lol ive had power steering problems for almost over a year like the groaning noises and kinda hard to turn but now its almost impossible to turn so its really hard to drive. so im triyng to get it fixed asap
