Power Lock Issue

So funny thing has been happening....


First my Drivers door lock wouldn't work with the key FOB. Now my passenger side is doing the same thing. The back locks work perfectly! Did i mention that sometimes the drivers side will work, sometimes it doesn't. But since the warmer weather has come, it barely works at all!


I am hoping that this is a common issue and someone might chime in with a "So here's what you do...." kinda post.

Same symptoms. fronts dont work, back does.

could be the lock actuators both took a crap.

will ones from an '01 work in my '04?

not likely. look both parts up on line at a parts store, see if the part # is the same.

That's Odd I have seen several people with 04+ cars that describe the same or similar symptoms. My 05 will sometimes lock all the doors and other times it won't (meaning they move but not far enough to lock or unlock. Doesn't matter if it's the remote or the switch. They seem weak for some reason. It's like whatever relay is all carboned up so it makes intermittent contact. I replaced a couple of the actuators and it didn't seem to make a difference.
