Welcome to the community, but please do us a favor. You can keep the altezzas but for God sakes please get those pep boy mufflers off of there. Put some GTX tips on there or something.....please!
 
Better pics soon? Only way thats going to happen is too 'de-rice' your Grand Prix.

Loose those tail lights and those god awful fugly fart cannons dude.

Eh, some of the guys are a little harsh. Just from looking at the car I'm guessing you're probably between the age of 16-19. From our point of view when we see those types of mufflers we think "rice," which the term refers to mainly Mexicans in my area with NOS stickers on their 91 Toyota Corolla. Majority of the owners with those type of mufflers on their cars are stereotypically related to a point that they know nothing about cars. My experience is when I see those mufflers on a car I think, "Wow! I am pretty positive that guy knows nothing." It comes from being around them and listening to them talk about how they put those on and gained 20 horsepower.

Just take our advice on that aspect and understand that people will disrespect your car simply because of those mufflers. The lights aren't a big deal to me.

Also you should know that our stock exhaust is almost as good as any aftermarket exhaust. Many on here simply put a downpipe, headers, or both on their car and it does justice for performance and sound gains.
 


Harsh? My first post and I got shot down. Woulda been nice to hear something good, instead of getting flamed. I don't care too much for them either, but for crying out loud, my car isn't THAT bad. I used these because I have 3" stainless exhaust, and wanted all of it to be stainless, and couldn't afford the mufflers and tips that I wanted. Usually, cars like ours, I mean mine, are 'works in progress', and mufflers and tips are high on my 'get' list. My car isn't perfect, and has a way to go. I was a little proud to have come this far with it. The rest of it is no different than what most of you have done to yours, headers, high flow cats, K&N CAI, Xtreme Energy Cam and lifter set..... BTW, I'm in the 40-45 age group.
 
Don't take it to heart man. I see what you're saying. It's just a matter of appearance and first impressions, and first impressions mean everything. We took it the wrong way. People aren't going to like everything, and in your case it probably would hold true to most people on the site.

Although it seems like we were being jerks here, and we were, we usually aren't. This is actually a very clean, helpful, informative site and we all tend to get along well.

Sorry for implying you were a teenager, too.
 
P.S. Check out BadazGTP cuz we all get on him all the time for having unpainted bumpers and a huge rice wing. Haha, but we love him like a half retarded brother....

Hey man throw some pics back up, you shouldn't care about what anyone thinks. I've done plenty of stuff to my cars that I've got harassed about but when it all comes together it'll be great. My dad and brother and my dad's co-workers (we own a garage) talk smack about me every time I do something to my car and when it's done they all gawk and say it looks good and they were just messing with me. In my opinion there's never a car that's "done" lol, don't take anything to heart though, it's your car and all that matters is that you love it just like the rest of us, once again look at BadazGTP's lol, not many get worse than that (sorry bro haha :D), we can all laugh now but in the end it'll probably be nicer than most of ours.

Personally I want to see some pics of your car so throw some back up man.
 
I can't see the pics for some reason but can kinda get an idea of what it looks like from reading everyone elses posts. I will say i too have rice cans i heard a stratus with them an it sounded nice so i thought id try it an plus they were cheap. Yea i do fall into the sterotype of 16 to 19 as i am 19 but am far from a ricer an i dont like them on my car i fully intend to change it when i get a chance. im gonna get a set of stock muffs off a buddy an put them on. I will say it doesnt sound all bad but doesnt sound great either an its too loud an resonates in the cabin like crazy. I fully understand where you are comin from with the cheap way to start though an plus you cant always know what its gonna sound or look like till its done. An as far as altezas im not a fan but i have seen a set tinted dark that looked nice. I say congrats on gettin as far as you have and good luck as you continue on the path of modding. your alot further than i am an if you like it the way it is keep it. To each his own. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and style especially when it comes to their car. you gotta drive it make it the way you want and like it.

I should have mentioned I fall into the same age stereotype but look at my car. I've made a couple of mistakes, the first set of seat covers I put on my car that I thought would look great really didn't and my interior paint isn't all that great but as soon as I come up with some more money I intend on changing that, I just swapped out my seats and I'm having my interior painted to match my car's paint code rather than just a bright white.

Just out of curiosity what color is your car?
 


Repost those pics dude! There was one guy on here that got made fun of too. There was pages of bad comments, but i respect him because he left the pics for everyone to see and didnt take them off. Repost those pics! maybe i can help u out.
 
Usually people on here aren't as mean and can give you some inexpensive tips to make your car look better. So throw those pics back up man.
