• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

post your guns!

I gots no pics right now.
But I have
J. Stevens Arms Co. 410/22 O/U
Remington something 30/30
Remington woodsmaster 760 30-06
Remington Wingmaster 870 12 Ga.

If anyone is looking to do a BUDGET ar build, a company called New Frontier Armory produces polymer composite ar lowers now. They come complete with fire control group AND a collapsible butt stock. I picked up one just because they are so inexpensive from joeboboutfitters.com. How can you beat a complete lower for 100 bucks shipped? So you can essentially have an AR15 for ~$400 bucks, depending on what upper you build or buy.
For all the purists out there who dont like "plastic guns" just check out their website and watch the torture tests they do to these things.

Mine actually started as a DPMS lower I bought stripped and then threw a Delton M4 kit on it. It was probably around a $500-600 build to start with and looked nothing out of the normal. Slowly, I've replaced just about everything to reflect what I wanted and I'm sure I've got around $1100 in it now, or close to it.

ya thats the way ar builds go LOL. i picked up my bushy for 600 used and im not sure what i have into it now, between the optics, new stripped flat top spikes upper, osprey piston kit, rails, slide fire stock.100rd dual drum mag :th_devil: etc etc etc
Not sure what im gonna do with my polymer lower yet. was just too good of a deal to pass up!

Got bored and uploaded a few more pics.

Earlier pics of my AR posted on page 2, starting out life as a standard M4, then progressing to Dark Earth FrankenAR. Stripped and painted it myself, plus cut down the front sight and it still resides under the full length forearm rail to this day. Cheaper than buying something dedicated to it and it looks pretty good.

Couple of RIA 1911s I had. Bought the GI used really cheap. I cut the frame myself with my own homemade jig, then installed a beavertail. Added a commander hammer too, old spur hammer bit me two times too many. The two-tone RIA I bought off a friend, still have it. Both are excellent guns with good mags... had an ACT mag that would choke the GI every shot. Armscor/Wilson mags, they did fine.

Why on gods green earth would you shoot slugs out of a home defense shotty? Its a point and click weapon...that's why its an awsome hd gun, you won't miss

I don't just use it as a HD gun. I do shoot loads of slugs and 00 buck out of it. And the red dot is used maybe 35% of the time. I have uses for it, just not everday. Plus it has 0x magnification, so it's not like I'm scoping out skeet.

Unfired Colt? It's like a trailer queen, nice to look at but defeats the purpose of having it.

I love Rugers. Glad their politics have gotten better over the past few years, actually selling guns with large capacity magazines and not limiting things to the public. I had a Ruger SBH in .44 Magnum some years ago. Sold it to my brother in law because I had a .44 S&W and I liked how it handled better. I need to get myself a .357. I've shot some, but never owned one.
