Thats your mistake right there. You NEVER take a "calender" picture with a cell phone.

On the 3000GT/Stealth forum there are STRICT guidelines for the photo before it will even be accepted for voting. We do a high quality calender and a high quality calender requires high quality pictures.

my cellphone has an 8 megapixel camera
a year ago you would still pay 150 bucks for the same camera

That doesn't matter. An 8 MP camera phone wont be near the same quality of a 6 MP SLR. A cell phone just does not have the ability to take the same quality picture as a true camera.

I havent had the time for a proper photoshoot now that my car is gorgeous

look in the discussion thread, you'll see the location i wanna redo shots at. the photos were taken a few months ago though
