I'm short too and can't reach the cord, but dad has ours is wired to a switch which is good for me cuz I can reach that. lol

It just amazes me how easy they make things yet they complain about how fat the country is getting. Well gee, you make it ok to be lazy and make everything ten times easier, of course we are going to take advantage. My boyfriends bothers kids...the oldest one is so damn lazy. Won't go outside to play, sits and watches tv or is on computer all the time. And they make it ok, they don't make them do anything. She's only 10 and she's really overweight. She's going to have health issues. Her mom is awful at house chores as far as laundry and cleaning. I guess last week Barb was gone and her mom and sister were over cleaning the house for her while the 10 yr old was on the couch watching tv. That's just retarded. Your making nothing but a bad example for your kids. We went and stopped by their house yesterday to look around cuz might rent it after they move out...you can tell she doesn't clean. Carpet has never been shampood, let alone barely swept it looked like.

where i grew up, 2 blocks away i had a fire house, every day at @ 6 pm the horn went off. that was my dinner bell.

i was never home as a kid. there was nothing going on at my house, had to go out have fun as a kid. even when Atari came out, yeah im that old. it had pong lol it never kept us in the house all day like kids today.

Well to be fair playing TDM or an MMORPG is a lot more consuming than pong. But I do agree, I was always out as a kid. Riding bikes, skateboards, swimming, adventuring in the woods, making forts and tree houses. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a neighborhood with no less than 1 close friend around.

My brother on the other hand doesn't leave his room. He's been like that for far too long now. All he eats is delivery, all he drinks is soda, all he does is play video games and watch porn. I am seriously nervous for his health. He doesn't listen though.

The allure of laziness is much too much for some people..... And this is coming from a self proclaimed lazy gamer.

^ This. The allure is too much, I have a friend, he is a nice little 350lb house wife, watches the kids, plays D3, WoW, or Battlefield3, and never gets out. His wife works, how she puts up with it is beyond me, but he see's it as better to stay on gov assistance vs getting out and actually working. He says he wants a job, so he gets out, but I've given several guaranteed job offers, just had to show up and nothing. Actions speak louder than words.

I use to game ALOT, like 30/40+ hrs aweek, but we do what we have to and I like to keep a social life, so I get with friends every other Friday at a friends shop and we LAN party it up til all hours of the next morning, the rest of the time its a couple hours if I'm luck a week and the rest is social time or GF time when I'm not working.

As a kid tho, If I was inside it was because I was sick, it was raining, and Mom wouldn't let me go play in the mud.

The used lot down the street from my work has a 95 840ci. I may have to take it for a test drive for ****s and giggles.



I wonder if I could fit in it...
 


After spending more or less a month in Florida south of Gainesville, it rains way more than back up in the Fl panhandle, damn

So today, long day. Got up, got breakfast, went shoppin with the gma and picked up the only 2 mini blinds (or so we thought) that I needed. Turns out all the 31" blinds she had donated to me were not long enough. So I went back today and got 4 of the 2" vinyl and one 1" vinyl cheap for the kitchen door.
Then I went to do laundry at my mom's house and she had a ton of plants and I've been wanting to spruce up my house so she gave me two Peace Lilys and one plant (forget the name) that is very droopy. Me likes. I was planning on finishing arranging furniture and putting things away today but my plan didn't go so well.

lol stfu. idk ive never done this before. my uncle had a green thumb but i always kill plants n such. just trying out this whole interior decor thing

well if im off tomorrow thats cool back to work on saturday :th_yawning: no weekends for me. havent had 2 days off in a row for about 6 months.
