That money goes to pay back bonds used to build the bridge. Also they are used to finance new bonds for other bridges and of course general maintenance and pay the toll staff

all of these bridges are paid for, most are 60 + years old, if you only knew the miss management that goes on in NYC, lets just say its a mess and most of the bridges are falling apart. some are over 100 years old now, and still have commercial trucks using them.

well i was doing 80, rain hit and i was in a curve so i dropped it to 75... then the bottom of the bucket fell out and i was like okay 70 is cool, then everybody else said NAWWW 45 is whats KEWL bro. i was like omfg..
